Quick Italian

Everyone seems to have a handful of recipes that can come together quickly with less than 5 ingredients. This recipe is a great go-to for a busy weeknight and I have variations that depend on how much time I have!

Start by bringing your pot of water to boil. Cook pasta according to package directions.

Meanwhile, grill your Italian sausage. I like chicken sausage and found this delicious flavor at Trader Joe's!  Cook it for 5-6 min on each side or until it's cooked through.
Drain your pasta but reserve about 1/2 cup. Pour your regular jarred marinara sauce over the pasta and add in some minced garlic, a splash of red wine (if you have some open) and chopped basil for a fresher flavor that tastes homemade!
Slice the sausage and add it right in over the pasta. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes to heat through.

That's it! Delish.

  1. It is a fantastic post – immense clear and easy to understand. I am also holding out for the sharks too that made me laugh.

  2. If you are going to try your hands on cooking for the first time, it is advisable to choose the recipes that are not too complicated, as you would not like to be overwhelmed by the Cooking Recipes with unusual ingredients or difficult steps.

  3. Its now the perfect time to consider those grills you'll be having.
